Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Bernards Mountaineers (Bernardsville, NJ) and the visiting Delaware Valley Terriers (Frenchtown, NJ), saw Bernards's basketball squad hold off Delaware Valley by a tally of 36-30.

The Mountaineers (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Hanover Park (East Hanover, NJ). The Hornets go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record.

The Terriers now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Johnson for a non-league test on Saturday, January 7. Delaware Valley will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 44-16 non-league win over Kent Place (Summit, NJ). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-3.
