Maryland High School Basketball - Bishop Walsh thwarted by Mountain Ridge

The Bishop Walsh Spartans basketball team (Cumberland, MD), was toppled 47-36 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD)

The Miners now possess a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northern for a Appalachian Mountain battle on Monday, January 9. Mountain Ridge will confront a Huskies team coming off a 43-26 non-league win over Calvary Christian Academy (Cresaptown, MD). The Huskies record now stands at 6-4.

The Spartans (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Rockwood (Rockwood, PA). The Rockets come into the non-league battle with a 2-8 record.
