Grove Christian School Falcons (Richmond, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot Knights (Powhatan, VA), 24-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Grove Christian School upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Falcons travel to Grace Christian School (Mechanicsville, VA) to play the Kings in a VISAA Division IV bout on Monday, January 9. The Kings go into the bout with a record of 6-6. Grace Christian School won 38-13 in their recent league bout against The Carmel School (Ruther Glen, VA)

Next up, the Knights play the Brunswick Academy Vikings (Lawrenceville, VA) in a Virginia Colonial bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 34-21 league win over Southampton Academy (Courtland, VA).
