East College Prep Spartans (Los Angeles, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting CALS Early College Falcons (Los Angeles, CA), 2-0 in a league bout.

With the victory, East College Prep upgrades its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Collins Family (Huntington Park, CA) to play the Jaguars in a Eastside bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Jaguars come into the bout with a record of 4-4. Collins Family lost 63-7 in their recent non-league bout against Huntington Park (Huntington Park, CA)

Next up, the Falcons play the Valley Oaks CES Vanguards (Sun Valley, CA) in a North Valley bout, on Wednesday, January 11. CALS Early College will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
