Cape Henlopen Vikings (Lewes, DE) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Milford Buccaneers (Milford, DE), 75-20 in a league bout.

With the win, Cape Henlopen upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Vikings host Sussex Tech (Georgetown, DE) to clash with the Ravens in a Henlopen - Northern bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Ravens go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Sussex Tech won 39-37 in their recent league bout against Dover (Dover, DE)

Next up, the Buccaneers clash with the Red Lion Christian Academy Lions (Bear, DE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Milford will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 43-26 non-league loss to Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE).
