The Dryden Lions basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Charles O. Dickerson Blue Raiders to 30 in the Lions league victory on Thursday.

The Lions now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newark Valley for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Dryden will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 45-38 league win over Waverly (Waverly, NY). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-0.

The Blue Raiders (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Edison (Elmira Heights, NY). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Edison was routed by Notre Dame (Elmira, NY), 56-50, in a league contest.
