Collingswood Panthers (Collingswood, NJ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Gloucester City Lions (Gloucester City, NJ), 21-12 in a league bout.

With the victory, Collingswood upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Cinnaminson (Cinnaminson, NJ) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 7-1. Cinnaminson won 46-25 in their recent league bout against Delran (Delran, NJ)

Next up, the Lions play the Sterling Silver Knights (Somerdale, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Gloucester City will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
