The Columbiana Clippers basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Leetonia Bears to 26 in the Clippers league victory on Thursday.

The Clippers now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Palestine for a Eastern Ohio contest on Monday, January 9. Columbiana will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 32-20 league win over Wellsville (Wellsville, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-4.

The Bears (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Heartland Christian (Columbiana, OH). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Heartland Christian was routed by Edison (Richmond, OH), 57-47, in a non-league contest.
