The Crockett County Cavaliers basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Peabody Golden Tide to 37 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cavaliers now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Halls for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Crockett County will meet a Tigers team coming off a 62-44 non-league loss to Dresden (Dresden, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 2-8.

The Golden Tide (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Dyersburg (Dyersburg, TN). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Dyersburg triumphed over Ripley (Ripley, TN), 61-24, in a non-league contest.
