Knoch Knights (Saxonburg, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Derry Trojans (Derry, PA), 55-18 in a league bout.

With the win, Knoch upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Knights host Greensburg Salem (Greensburg, PA) to play the Golden Lions in a WPIAL 4A 1 bout on Monday, January 9. The Golden Lions go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Greensburg Salem lost 62-41 in their recent league bout against North Catholic (Cranberry Township, PA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Highlands Golden Rams (Natrona Heights, PA) in a WPIAL 4A 1 bout, on Monday, January 9. Derry will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Golden Rams go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 55-44 league win over Freeport (Freeport, PA).
