The Shelton Bulldogs (Shelton, NE) basketball crushed the host Deshler Dragons (Deshler, NE), 53-20 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (8-0) will now prepare for their test against Grand Island Central Catholic (Grand Island, NE). The Crusaders go into the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Grand Island Central Catholic walloped Kearney Catholic (Kearney, NE), 46-41, in a non-league test.
The Dragons now own a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Thayer Central for a non-league test on Saturday, January 7. Deshler will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 54-39 league loss to Superior (Superior, NE). The Titans record now stands at 7-2.
