Hampden Broncos (Hampden, ME) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Edward Little Red Eddies (Auburn, ME), 47-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Hampden upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Broncos travel to Messalonskee (Oakland, ME) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-8. Messalonskee lost 72-34 in their recent league bout against Lawrence (Fairfield, ME)

Next up, the Red Eddies clash with the Oxford Hills Vikings (South Paris, ME) in a AA North bout, on Monday, January 9. Edward Little will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record.
