The Lakeside School Chiefs basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Evangel Christian Academy Lions to 19 in the Chiefs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Chiefs now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Abbeville Christian Academy for a AISA AA Region 1 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Lakeside School will battle a Generals team coming off a 59-57 non-league loss to Miller County (Colquitt, GA). The Generals record now stands at 8-7.

The Lions (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Glenwood (Phenix City, AL). The Gators enter the non-league contest with a 11-5 record.
