The Falconer Golden Falcons (Falconer, NY) basketball knocked off the host Gowanda Panthers (Gowanda, NY), 54-41 in Thursday's league test.
The Golden Falcons (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Frewsburg (Frewsburg, NY). The Bears go into the Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus Central test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Frewsburg notched a victory over Salamanca (Salamanca, NY), 62-30, in a league test.
