Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Ferndale can't hold off Northern Cambria

The Northern Cambria Colts basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Ferndale Yellow Jackets to 47 in the Colts non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Colts now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Blacklick Valley for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Northern Cambria will battle a Vikings team coming off a 62-38 non-league win over Harmony Area (Westover, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 4-4.

The Yellow Jackets (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Turkeyfoot Valley Area (Confluence, PA). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Turkeyfoot Valley Area nudged Jeannette (Jeannette, PA), 52-41, in a non-league contest.
