Marine City Mariners (Marine City, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Fraser Ramblers (Fraser, MI), 46-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Marine City upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Mariners host St. Clair (St. Clair, MI) to clash with the Saints in a Macomb Area - Gold bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 5-4. St. Clair won 48-16 in their recent non-league bout against Lake Shore (St. Clair Shores, MI)

Next up, the Ramblers clash with the Lutheran North Mustangs (Macomb, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 9. Fraser will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record.
