In Thursday's non-league outing, the Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans (Nanticoke, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hanover Area Hawkeyes (Hanover Township, PA), by a count of 70-10.
The Trojans (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Lake-Lehman (Lehman, PA). The Knights go into the non-league outing with a 3-1 record. In their last outing, Lake-Lehman smashed Wyoming Area (Exeter, PA), 40-20, in a league outing.
The Hawkeyes now hold a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Northwest Area for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 7. Hanover Area will clash with a Rangers squad coming off a 42-25 league win over Sullivan County (Laporte, PA). The Rangers record now stands at 2-2.
