Sterling Silver Knights (Somerdale, NJ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Haddonfield Bulldawgs (Haddonfield, NJ), 23-17 in a league bout.

With the victory, Sterling upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Silver Knights travel to Winslow Township (Atco, NJ) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 2-6. Winslow Township lost 44-42 in their recent league bout against Moorestown (Moorestown, NJ)

Next up, the Bulldawgs play the Eastern Vikings (Voorhees, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Haddonfield will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 46-32 non-league loss to Medford Tech (Medford, NJ).
