In Thursday's league outing, the Hall Red Devils (Spring Valley, IL) basketball squad nipped the visiting Kewanee Boilermakers (Kewanee, IL), by a margin of 39-32.

The Red Devils (9-6) will now prepare for their outing against St. Bede (Peru, IL). The Bruins go into the Three Rivers - East outing with a 6-11 record. In their last outing, St. Bede got by Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL), 64-55, in a league outing.

The Boilermakers now own a 6-12 record. They play next when they travel to Newman Central Catholic for a Three Rivers - East outing on Monday, January 9. Kewanee will meet a Comets team coming off a 63-36 league loss to Princeton (Princeton, IL). The Comets record now stands at 3-15.
