New York High School Basketball - Starpoint beaten by Hamburg

In Thursday's league match, the visiting Hamburg Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 44-30 triumph over the Starpoint Spartans.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Bishop Ludden Gaelic Knights (Syracuse, NY) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 7. Hamburg will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record.
With the defeat, Starpoint moves to 2-2 on the year. The Spartans travel to Iroquois (Elma, NY) to face the Chiefs in a Section 6 Erie County II match on Monday, January 9. The Chiefs enter the match with a record of 5-2. Iroquois won 63-41 in their recent league match against Amherst Central (Amherst, NY)
