Hayfield Vikings (Hayfield, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Triton Cobras (Dodge Center, MN), 66-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hayfield upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Vikings host Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart (Hector, MN) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 7-0.
Next up, the Cobras clash with the Chatfield Gophers (Chatfield, MN) in a AA Section 1 bout, on Saturday, January 7. Triton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record.
