New Jersey High School Basketball - Keyport overwhelmed by Point Pleasant Beach

The Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the host Keyport Raiders to 20 in the Garnet Gulls league victory on Thursday.
The Garnet Gulls now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brick Memorial for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Point Pleasant Beach will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 57-42 non-league loss to Central Regional (Bayville, NJ). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-8.
The Raiders (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Pinelands Regional (Tuckerton, NJ). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Pinelands Regional was routed by Barnegat (Barnegat, NJ), 57-25, in a league contest.
