New York High School Basketball - Medgar Evers College Prep fells Summit Academy

January 5, 2023: Brooklyn, NY 11225

Medgar Evers College Prep (Brooklyn, NY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Summit Academy Eagles (Brooklyn, NY), 65-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Medgar Evers College Prep upgrades its record to 4-7 on the season. The travel to Jefferson (Brooklyn, NY) to clash with the Orange Wave in a PSAL Brooklyn A II bout on Friday, January 6. The Orange Wave go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Jefferson won 57-46 in their recent league bout against Summit Academy (Brooklyn, NY)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the New Dorp Central Cougars (Staten Island, NY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Summit Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Central Cougars go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 66-34 league loss to Wagner (Staten Island, NY).
