The Monmouth Regional Falcons basketball team (Tinton Falls, NJ), was toppled 46-28 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Ocean Township Spartans (Oakhurst, NJ)
The Spartans now possess a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Manchester Township for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 7. Ocean Township will confront a Hawks team coming off a 49-45 non-league win over Lacey Township (Lanoka Harbor, NJ). The Hawks record now stands at 6-4.
The Falcons (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Shore Regional (West Long Branch, NJ). The Blue Devils come into the Shore A - Central battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Shore Regional beat Liberty (Jackson, NJ), 56-20, in a non-league battle.
