The Murray County Central Rebels basketball team (Slayton, MN), was routed 72-24 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles (Edgerton, MN)

The Eagles now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tracy-Milroy-Balaton for a A Section 3 battle on Friday, January 6. Southwest Minnesota Christian will battle a Panthers team coming off a 66-23 non-league loss to Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg (Kerkhoven, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 4-2.

The Rebels (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Canby (Canby, MN). The Lancers come into the A Section 3 battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Canby was routed by MACCRAY (Clara City, MN), 34-31, in a league battle.
