The Princeton Tigers basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Newman Central Catholic Comets to 36 in the Tigers league victory on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marquette for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Princeton will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 58-41 non-league loss to Princeton (Princeton, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-8.

The Comets (3-15) will now prepare for their contest against Kewanee (Kewanee, IL). The Boilermakers come into the Three Rivers - East contest with a 6-12 record. In their last contest, Kewanee was routed by Hall (Spring Valley, IL), 39-32, in a league contest.
