Pacific Grove Breakers (Pacific Grove, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Notre Dame Spirits (Salinas, CA), 49-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Pacific Grove upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Breakers host Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, CA) to clash with the Gators in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Sacred Heart Prep lost 46-29 in their recent non-league bout against Menlo-Atherton (Atherton, CA)

Next up, the Spirits clash with the Everett Alvarez Eagles (Salinas, CA) in a PCAL - Mission bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Notre Dame will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
