Wardlaw Academy Patriots (Johnston, SC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Oconee Christian Academy Warriors (Seneca, SC), 72-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Wardlaw Academy upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Patriots travel to Cambridge Academy (Greenwood, SC) to play the Cougars in a SCISA A Region IV bout on Friday, January 6. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Cambridge Academy lost 49-31 in their recent non-league bout against Ben Lippen (Columbia, SC)

Next up, the Warriors play the Cambridge Academy Cougars (Greenwood, SC) in a SCISA A Region IV bout, on Friday, January 27. Oconee Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
