The Seacoast Christian Guardians basketball team (South Berwick, ME), was overwhelmed 73-42 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Old Orchard Beach Seagulls (Old Orchard Beach, ME)

The Seagulls now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maranacook for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 10. Old Orchard Beach will confront a Black Bears team coming off a 50-43 non-league loss to Cony (Augusta, ME). The Black Bears record now stands at 3-3.

The Guardians (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, North Yarmouth Academy trounced Waynflete (Portland, ME), 60-28, in a league battle.
