California High School Basketball - Oxnard routs Rio Mesa

In Thursday's league outing, the Oxnard Yellowjackets (Oxnard, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Rio Mesa Spartans (Oxnard, CA), by a margin of 70-25.

The Yellowjackets (13-4) will now prepare for their outing against Dos Pueblos (Goleta, CA). The Chargers go into the Channel outing with a 7-10 record. In their last outing, Dos Pueblos was trounced by Pacifica (Oxnard, CA), 67-32, in a league outing.

The Spartans now own a 8-10 record. They play next when they host Pacifica for a Channel outing on Tuesday, January 10. Rio Mesa will clash with a Tritons squad coming off a 67-32 league win over Dos Pueblos (Goleta, CA). The Tritons record now stands at 10-5.
