Idaho High School Basketball - Payette overwhelmed by Weiser

The Weiser Wolverines basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the visiting Payette Pirates to 8 in the Wolverines league victory on Thursday.
The Wolverines now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McCall-Donnelly for a 3A Snake River Valley contest on Saturday, January 7. Weiser will battle a Vandals team coming off a 58-24 league loss to Parma (Parma, ID). The Vandals record now stands at 6-6.
The Pirates (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Fruitland (Fruitland, ID). The Grizzlies come into the 3A Snake River Valley contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Fruitland triumphed over Homedale (Homedale, ID), 51-42, in a league contest.
