With the victory, Peotone upgrades its record to 15-0 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Coal City (Coal City, IL) to play the Coalers in a Illinois Central 8 challenge on Monday, January 9. The Coalers come into the challenge with a record of 13-4. Coal City won 55-45 in their recent league challenge against Lisle (Lisle, IL)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Grant Park Dragons (Grant Park, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Wilmington will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 47-13 league win over Donovan/St. Anne (Donovan, IL).
