The Pinewood Christian Patriots (Bellville, GA) basketball felled the visiting Robert Toombs Christian Academy Crusaders (Lyons, GA), 36-23 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Patriots (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Westminster Schools of Augusta (Augusta, GA). The Wildcats go into the GIAA AAAA/AAA District 2 test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Westminster Schools of Augusta thwarted Augusta Prep Day (Augusta, GA), 56-15, in a non-league test.
The Crusaders now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they host Frederica Academy for a non-league test on Friday, January 6. Robert Toombs Christian Academy will encounter a squad coming off a 40-34 non-league win over West Nassau (Callahan, FL). The record now stands at 7-4.
