Plainview-Elgin-Millville Bulldogs (Elgin, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Rushford-Peterson Trojans (Rushford, MN), 48-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Plainview-Elgin-Millville upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Caledonia (Caledonia, MN) to clash with the Warriors in a AA Section 1 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Caledonia won 69-62 in their recent league bout against Lake City (Lake City, MN)
Next up, the Trojans clash with the Dover-Eyota Eagles (Eyota, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 12. Rushford-Peterson will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record.
