The Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Sheldon Orabs to 28 in the Generals league triumph on Thursday.
The Generals now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sioux Center for a Siouxland contest on Friday, January 6. Sibley-Ocheyedan will battle a Warriors team coming off a 57-42 league win over MOC-Floyd Valley (Orange City, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 6-1.
The Orabs (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Boyden-Hull (Hull, IA). The Comets enter the Siouxland contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Boyden-Hull was routed by Okoboji (Milford, IA), 66-56, in a league contest.
