The South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind Hornets basketball team (Spartanburg, SC), was overwhelmed 29-8 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Whitmire Wolverines (Whitmire, SC)

The Wolverines now possess a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calhoun Falls Charter for a A Region 2 battle on Tuesday, January 10. Whitmire will confront a Blue Flashes team coming off a 63-17 league win over Ware Shoals (Ware Shoals, SC). The Blue Flashes record now stands at 5-3.

The Hornets (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Calhoun Falls Charter (Calhoun Falls, SC). The Blue Flashes come into the A Region 2 battle with a 5-3 record.
