New Jersey High School Basketball - West Orange overwhelmed by University

The West Orange Mountaineers basketball team (West Orange, NJ), was overwhelmed 64-39 in Thursday's league battle with the host University Phoenix (Newark, NJ)

The Phoenix now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Teaneck for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 7. University will confront a Highwaymen team coming off a 56-54 league win over Pascack Valley (Hillsdale, NJ). The Highwaymen record now stands at 8-0.

The Mountaineers (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Paramus Catholic (Paramus, NJ). The Paladins come into the non-league battle with a 2-5 record.
