The McQueen Lancers basketball team scored 29 points and restricted the host Spanish Springs Cougars to 22 in the Lancers league victory on Thursday.

The Lancers now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Reed for a contest on Saturday, January 7. McQueen will battle a Raiders team coming off a 23-21 league win over Carson (Carson City, NV). The Raiders record now stands at 4-4.

The Cougars (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Douglas (Minden, NV). The Tigers come into the contest with a 2-1 record.
