Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA) and the host Alexandria City Titans (Alexandria, VA), saw Lake Braddock's basketball team gain a win over Alexandria City by a tally of 33-20.

The Bruins now possess a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodson for a non-league battle on Monday, January 9. Lake Braddock will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 36-17 non-league win over West Springfield (Springfield, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-0.

The Titans (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against West Potomac (Alexandria, VA). The Wolverines come into the battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, West Potomac prevailed over Fairfax (Fairfax, VA), 62-15, in a league battle.
