Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV), 38-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Churchill County upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Greenwave travel to Fernley (Fernley, NV) to play the Vaqueros in a bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Vaqueros go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Fernley won 52-51 in their recent league bout against Elko (Elko, NV)

Next up, the Buckaroos play the Dayton Dust Devils (Dayton, NV) in a bout, on Friday, January 13. Lowry will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Dust Devils go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 36-27 league loss to Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV).
