North Carolina High School Basketball - Swain County overwhelmed by Franklin

The Franklin Panthers basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Swain County Maroon Devils to 25 in the Panthers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Smoky Mountain for a contest on Friday, January 6. Franklin will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 59-25 non-league loss to Erwin (Asheville, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-3.
The Maroon Devils (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, West Henderson triumphed over Enka (Enka, NC), 41-8, in a non-league contest.
