In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Piedmont Hills Pirates soccer squad scored a close 3-1 triumph over the Silver Creek Raiders.
The Pirates (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Gilroy (Gilroy, CA). The Mustangs come into the BVAL - Santa Teresa - East battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Gilroy nudged Mt. Pleasant (San Jose, CA), 5-0, in a league battle.
