The West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM) basketball nipped the host Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM), 62-57 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (8-0) will now prepare for their test against Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM). The Ravens go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Rio Grande was tipped by Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM), 57-20, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Eldorado for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 11.
