Reno Huskies (Reno, NV) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Damonte Ranch Mustangs (Reno, NV), 64-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Reno upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Huskies travel to Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV) to clash with the Cougars in a bout on Monday, January 9. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 14-1. Spanish Springs won 68-48 in their recent league bout against Douglas (Minden, NV)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Bishop Manogue Miners (Reno, NV) in a bout, on Saturday, January 7. Damonte Ranch will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Miners go into the bout with a 12-1 record after their 59-28 league win over Douglas (Minden, NV).
