The Grundy Golden Wave basketball squad scored 67 points and limited the host Richlands Blue Tornado to 33 in the Golden Wave non-league win on Thursday.

With the win, Grundy upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Golden Wave host Council (Council, VA) to play the Cobras in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Cobras go into the bout with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Blue Tornado play the Graham G-Men (Bluefield, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Richlands will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The G-Men go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 24-22 non-league win over Virginia High (Bristol, VA).
