Virginia High School Basketball - Hayfield ripped by Lewis

The Lewis Lancers basketball team scored 88 points and held the host Hayfield Hawks to 55 in the Lancers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Lancers now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Edison for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10. Lewis will meet a Eagles team coming off a 51-38 non-league win over Mount Vernon (Alexandria, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-1.
The Hawks (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Vernon (Alexandria, VA). The Majors enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Mount Vernon was routed by Edison (Alexandria, VA), 51-38, in a non-league contest.
