In Friday's league outing, the East Webster Wolverines (Maben, MS) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Aberdeen Bulldogs (Aberdeen, MS), by a margin of 76-36.
The Wolverines (16-3) will now prepare for their outing against Mooreville (Mooreville, MS). The Troopers go into the 3A Region 4 outing with a 4-10 record. In their last outing, Mooreville was trounced by Choctaw County (Ackerman, MS), 53-39, in a league outing.
The Bulldogs now own a 0-14 record. They play next when they host Nettleton for a 3A Region 4 outing on Tuesday, January 9. Aberdeen will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 54-53 non-league win over Hickory Flat (Hickory Flat, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 5-6.
