The Prairie City Panthers (Prairie City, OR) basketball nipped the host Adrian Antelopes (Adrian, OR), 53-50 in Friday's non-league contest.
The Panthers now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jordan Valley for a 1A High Desert contest on Saturday, January 6. Prairie City will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 67-32 non-league loss to Trinity Lutheran (Bend, OR). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-6.
The Antelopes (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Nixyaawii Community (Pendleton, OR). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Nixyaawii Community edged Griswold (Helix, OR), 88-24, in a league contest.
