The AHSTW Vikings basketball team (Avoca, IA), was nudged 66-60 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Tri-Center Trojans (Neola, IA)
The Trojans now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Logan-Magnolia for a Western Iowa battle on Tuesday, January 9. Tri-Center will battle a Panthers team coming off a 60-57 league win over Riverside (Oakland, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-6.
With the defeat, AHSTW moves to 3-7 on the year. The Vikings travel to Riverside (Oakland, IA) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 9. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 5-4. Riverside lost 60-57 in their recent league match against Logan-Magnolia (Logan, IA)
