Michigan High School Basketball - Whittemore-Prescott ripped by Alcona

The Alcona Tigers basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Whittemore-Prescott Cardinals to 32 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ogemaw Heights for a non-league contest on Monday, January 8. Alcona will meet a Falcons team coming off a 45-32 non-league win over Beaverton (Beaverton, MI). The Falcons record now stands at 5-6.

The Cardinals (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Pinconning (Pinconning, MI). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Pinconning was routed by Clare (Clare, MI), 51-43, in a league contest.
